Client Support Coordinators
 

Our Client Support Coordinators, Natalie Newall & Maddie FD, provide free assistance to Aucklanders, their carers, family and others in the community affected by: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME); Long Covid; Fibromyalgia (FM); Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVS/S); Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS); Orthostatic Intolerance (OI); and related illnesses, that can include MCAS and EDS.

 

Support offered may include symptom management support and resources; support accessing a GP familiar with ME/CFS; advice regarding Work and Income benefits and entitlements; information and advice regarding how to access carer and household support; how to get a mobility parking permit; how to access discount taxis; and more!

Services

Our Client Support Coordinators provide a number of services to help improve the lives of ME/CFS & Long Covid sufferers and their carers. Our services are listed below:

 

We also provide information to healthcare professionals, media, schools, disability service agencies and many others. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like information.

         Accessing assistance

 

A number of government and non-government organisations provide support services in the community. Whether you need home assistance, transport to medical appointments, counselling services, etc - our Client Support Coordinators can help you identify what services are available, and help you gain access to these services.

 

   2.

         Advocacy

 

Our Client Support Coordinators may be able to advocate for you. Whether it's representing you at Work & Income or supporting you at your doctor's consultation, they may be able to advocate for you when you are too ill to advocate for yourself.

         Information

 

Client Support Coordinators provide information not just to ME/CFS & Long Covid sufferers, but to medical teams, schools and family (just to name a few) to help you and the people around you better understand ME/CFS and Long Covid.
